In many parts of the world, people are engaged in unethical activities. This is mainly due to the absence of legal structures to control their business. Besides, illiteracy and poverty have helped the spread of these acts. The illegal means used by these people enable them to acquire vast fortunes and immense influence over their communities.

We also find that bribery and embezzlement of public funds take alarming proportions in many countries. Similarly, the unauthorized sale of arms and the marketing of suspicious medicines proved to be harmful. In addition to this, many products such as clothes, toys, and mobile phones are counterfeited without any respect to their inventors or the regulations for their safe use and quality. Fake products lead to considerable loss in profits of the legitimate producers who lose not only in profits but also jobs. Meanwhile the state doesn’t receive any tax revenues.

All these violations of law and morality weaken the resources of the state and harm the social conditions of the citizens.
