Our findings show that one out of three adults in Britain now smokes cigarettes. Eleven million people in this country have given up smoking. Most of them stopped on their own without any medical help. Some had to try several times before they finally gave up for good. Other smokers said that it was surprisingly easy.

You have to stop smoking, either you are young or old, ” doctors told them.

A man who is trying to stop smoking said: “ I have really a heavy breathing and a bad chest. I just say to myself stop! ”
